You’ve probably seen the famous photos taken by the NOH8 Campaign over the years, which feature subjects with duct tape over their mouths, symbolizing their voices being silenced by Prop 8 and similar legislation around the world, with “NOH8” painted on one cheek in protest.
As part of our Prosser Grand Opening events, BPL is thrilled to announce that they are coming to Prosser Library on Monday, June 29, from 5:00-7:00 PM for our very own photo shoot! Thanks to the Friends of the Library, this shoot will be open and free to the first 50 people who register. PLEASE cancel your registration if you cannot attend so that someone else may get a spot. Please arrive camera-ready with a plain white shirt to match the signature style of the NOH8 photos. You may also bring your favorite often-banned or challenged book to be photographed with. Priority will be given to Bloomfield residents.
