Event date: December 10, 2025
Event Time: 06:30 PM – 07:30 PM
Description:
December 10 is Human Rights Day. This virtual library event commemorates the day in 1948 when the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR). Human Rights consultant Coryse Villarouel will lead us in examining the history and purpose of the UDHR. We’ll recognize key human rights principles that impact daily life, reflect on current global and local issues through a human rights lens, and identify ways individuals and communities can promote and protect human rights today.
