BPL has purchased copies of the book for you to keep, which will be available for pickup at the Atrium.<\/p>\n<p>More Than Merely Eyes Can See weaves together the stories of a small church in Hartford, CT\u2014mostly comprised of middle-class suburban members\u2014and its inner-city neighbors. In 2011, the congregation launched the Friday Gathering and invited members and neighbors to dine together each week. In the book, more than forty diners share stories about their lives with grace, humor, and occasionally brutal honesty.
