Are you a fan of the UConn Huskies and basketball? BPL is thrilled that author Bethany O’Brien will visit Prosser Library to share her picture book, The Lucky Husky. The first in a series, this book features Jonathan the Husky—UConn’s beloved mascot—and his role as the basketball team’s good luck charm. This heartwarming story is perfect for young readers, UConn families, and fans of Connecticut traditions—but best targets ages 3–10.
Families and kids will have the opportunity to learn a classic UConn cheer, take a photo with Jonathan, and even do a small scavenger hunt in the Prosser Youth Department.
Copies of Ms. O’Brien’s book will be available for purchase at the event. Registration is appreciated.
