Meet Our General Manager
Howard Steven Frydman
Howard Steven Frydman is the General Manager and Executive Director of BATV—Channels 5, 95 & 96 in Bloomfield, Connecticut. He has worked in the field of television, radio, and print media for over 25 years and has coordinated many local and statewide public events. His movie reviews have been a television staple for numerous years on Channel 5’s “Movie of the Week” series. His reviews are also syndicated in several newspapers in Connecticut, including “The Airport News,” the official newspaper for Connecticut’s Bradley International Airport, and “The North Central News.” Mr. Frydman has also served politically in various elected positions, including selectman, registrar of voters, and justice of the peace. He is the recipient of the Connecticut “Hometown Hero” Award, the Connecticut Jaycee Outstanding Citizen Award and the National Army Citizen Service Award.
